Browse by trade and locality

The directory has 20 trades — plumbing, electrician, painting, tiling, air conditioning, cleaning, moving and more. Choose the trade, then narrow to a locality; a profile only appears in the localities the tradesperson has said they cover. You can also start from the Tradespeople tab in the search box on the front page.

Read the profile, then get in touch

A profile shows the trades offered, the areas covered, years of experience, a short description and, where added, photos of past work. Then you choose:

Send a request — describe the job in a few lines, say where and when. You get a reference number, and the tradesperson replies to you directly by e-mail or phone.
Show phone number — the number stays hidden until you press the button, a simple brake on spam. Some profiles also offer WhatsApp.

What "Example" means

While the directory fills up, some profiles carry an Example ribbon. They show what a finished profile looks like and cannot be contacted. Real tradespeople have no ribbon — and if you are one, creating a profile is free.

The Verified badge

A profile marked Verified has a company number we have matched against the Malta Business Registry. The badge says the business exists; it says nothing about the quality of the work — always ask for references and more than one quote.

Reviews

Reviews are being built and will only accept ratings from customers who actually contacted the tradesperson through Monti. A profile without reviews does not mean little experience.

Your own checks still matter

Get two or three quotes and compare them.
Ask for the licence or certification the job requires (electrical and gas work in particular) and whether the business is insured.
Agree price, scope and timing in writing — a short e-mail is enough.
Pay on completion, by bank transfer or cash on collection; never pay the whole job up front.
